It is capable of destroying a very heavy bombardment aircraft travelling at a speed of 600 mph at an altitude of 60,000 ft desired or 40,000 ft required. It is expected to employ a jet-assisted take-off unit and be rocket or jet-propelled after launching. Radar seemed to be the most promising control system."
